Typically 1 year to 18 months

Once a child is able to pull him/herself up, they are eager to have different stimulus and seem to excel when surrounded by other children also learning to walk.

The difference of just a few months in age allows the classroom to have a variety of skill levels, thus allowing children to model one another and help build confidence.

In an environment that maximizes their gross motor development, "cruisers" can explore safely with materials suitable for their particular needs.

Teachers welcome each child at the car during morning drop off which helps relieve the separation anxiety that occurs typically at this age. Our Cruiser teachers play a vital role in developing a confident foundation for each child, and take pride in watching each child's progression, as they grow older.
